The Colony at White Pine Canyon home was designed by Bridgwater Consulting Group, which also handled interior decor.
Clive Bridgwater tells us, “The clients wanted a home with simple forms that captured the views and sun coming from three directions.
The house sits on a knoll in a grove of aspens and is designed as an ‘L’ shaped house, with the great room wrapping around a central kitchen. 6 different areas wrap around the central kitchen, allowing multiple groups to be together.
At the knuckle in the ‘L’ is the ski in/ski out ski room, and the master bedroom and study are centrally located – with big down valley views.
A water feature activates the entry courtyard and cascades down to a pond at the guest room level.
Picklewood siding, massive stone piers, and metal roofing and siding create a modern, low maintenance exterior that can hold up against the elements.”
The home was built by Park City, Utah firm North Ridge Construction.
