The stunning fall colors turned white this week with the first snow of the season. Over 5 inches have been reported in The Colony and it continues to snow. Canyons will open for the 2011/2012 winter season on November 25, 2011. Only one more week to purchase a Canyons season pass at locals prices, after October 15th, prices will go up. Get ready for another season graced with amazing Utah powder!!

We are enjoying a beautiful fall in The Colony. The colors have been vibrant with beautiful blue skies and warm afternoons. The Mid Mountain Trail from Iron Mountain and Phase 4E provides for gorgeous views overlooking Park City, Canyons, and The Colony. #182 White Pine Canyon Road in The Colony will be part of the 2011 Park City Area Showcase of Homes, hosted by the Park City Area Homebuilders Association.  

The Showcase of Homes is a unique tour that offers the opportunity to visit homes around the Park City area of the finest craftsmanship and design. Other homes included can be seen in the areas of The Woods at Parleys, Old Town Park City, Park Meadows, Promontory, Tuhaye, Kamas, and Red Ledges. Mark your calendar as the tour runs three weekends, tickets are $12 each.

Event Recap: The 2011 Luxury Home Tour Auction held on June 30th at La Caille was a huge success! Thank you to all of the guests, sponsors, donors, and volunteers who made the evening memorable. Highlights included a robust Silent auction with over 150 items, and fourteen Live auction items including two trips to Italy, a week-long tour on a private yacht through the Galapagos Islands, an evening of dinner and moonlight snowshoeing at the private Colony White Pine Yurt for twelve guests, and a Heli Ski Trip with Wasatch Powderbirds! Over 250 guests were in attendance to enjoy the beautiful summer evening.
