The Colony at White Pine Canyon

Park City, Utah Real Estate | Home Sites and Custom Homes

Dream Home: 110 White Pine Canyon Road

July 2, 2019 by Molly Miller, Colony PR

This pristine mountain ridgeline estate, with highly-sought-after down valley views, is nestled in the heart of The Colony at White Pine Canyon and is perfectly-placed to maximize ski access in one of the nation’s largest ski and snowboard resorts.

110 White Pine Canyon is scrupulously designed to integrate seamlessly into the slope of Dream Peak, and out its back door lies access to the entirety of Park City Mountain Resort. A quick click into skis places you on the intermediate Twilight run, and from there, you will enjoy nearly unprecedented access to some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the world.

Head to the base of Iron Mountain Express for entry to the Quicksilver Gondola – and explore the Park City side of the resort acreage. Alternatively, glide to Tombstone Express, and discover thousands of acres of epic, uncrowded Canyons terrain.

This mountain retreat’s meticulous design was crafted to take advantage of the breathtaking down valley and mountain views.

Exacting workmanship and the highest quality materials, including Wolf Creek Moss Rock inside and out, have come together to create a sense of warmth, color, and character only found in on-mountain luxury living.

The main home has 8 bedrooms total, with 10 bathrooms, and covers 9,499 square feet on 6.13 acres.

The top level master suite has some of the most spectacular views to be found in the entirety of The Colony, with a heated deck right outside the french doors upon which to sit, relax, and enjoy them.

The main home includes three levels of east-facing window walls to highlight a panoramic ridge view, which stretches all the way to the Unita Mountains.

An apartment, perfect for a caretaker or nanny, is placed in its own private wing.

A detached 2,012 square foot bunkhouse was constructed in 2011, with an additional three bedrooms, for 11,511 total square feet of living space.

Also found in this spectacular mountain retreat: multiple entertainment enclaves, an office, a dedicated ski room, wet bar, theatre, and wine cellar.

This estate, designed by Mark Walker of Otto Walker Architects and completed in 2004 by Sletta Contstcution Inc, is truly a work of art.

View the listing HERE. To take a private tour of this incredible ridge line retreat with unmatched down-valley views, connect with Colony Sales Team Lead, Bronson Calder.

Park City Event Guide: February 8 – 10

February 9, 2019 by Molly Miller, Colony PR

It’s another event weekend here in Park City – with finals scheduled for snowboard halfpipe, freestyle moguls, freeski halfpipe, dual moguls, and snowboard slopestyle in the FIS World Championships. The event is the biggest ski and snowboarding competition our state has hosted since the 2002 Winter Olympics, and most of the events are taking place at Park City Mountain and Deer Valley Resort.

In fact, the event is SO big that a number of eateries in the Park City Area Restaurant Association have joined forces to create special offerings to those participating in – and enjoying – the events. Check here for specials from places like The Twisted Fern, which is offering a free starter (with the purchase of two entrees) at lunch during FIS, Harvest Park City, and Silver Star Cafe.

Challenges abound when amusement park Zombillenium is threatened by a corporate buy-out. Fortunately, high-minded ghoul dad Hector, tenacious witchboarder Gretchen, and a collective cohort of zombies rise up and fight in true French form for worker rights—above and below ground—in this clever genre and monster mash up. Recommended for ages 10+.

Presented in French with English subtitles in partnership with Park City Library.”
